We charge by project, not by the hour. The scope, deliverables, and timeline are agreed in a Statement of Work before any payment is made.

10% on signing, and the rest released across milestones as we hit them, so payment always tracks progress you can see.
50% money-back guarantee
If we don’t deliver against what we agreed and can’t fix it, you get half of everything you’ve paid back. No arguments.
How we work
We charge by project, not by the hour. You know the total cost upfront, and there are no surprise invoices. The scope, deliverables, and timeline are defined in a Statement of Work (SOW) before any payment is made, so the project is clear and agreed before it begins.
Payment structure
Our standard structure is simple:
- 10% on signing to kick the project off
- The remaining 90% across project milestones, each tied to a concrete deliverable
The exact breakdown depends on the project’s scope and timeline, and is set out in the Statement of Work before signing. Typical structures look like this:

Still 10% on signing, then additional milestones spread across the timeline to smooth cash flow on both sides. The full schedule is agreed in the Statement of Work.
Each milestone has written acceptance criteria in the Statement of Work. A milestone is accepted when you sign off, or automatically after 5 business days if no feedback is provided, so the project never stalls waiting on a reply.

Our guarantee
If at any point before acceptance of the project’s halfway milestone we fail to deliver against the agreed acceptance criteria, and we can’t fix it within 10 business days, you’re entitled to a 50% refund of everything you’ve paid so far. No arguments, no drawn-out process. We offer this because we’re confident in our team and our process. We’d rather give a clean exit than deliver work you’re not happy with.
- The refund applies to fees paid directly to Yuna Labs.
- Third-party costs (cloud infrastructure, software subscriptions, paid connectors) are non-refundable, since those go to outside vendors.
- On refund, all work product, code, models, and documentation remain Yuna Labs’ property, and the engagement ends cleanly with no further obligations on either side.
Scope changes
Material changes to the agreed scope require a written change order, with adjusted pricing and timeline, signed by both parties before the new work begins. The guarantee above applies to the originally scoped work, not to added scope.
Small refinements and normal iteration within the defined scope are expected and included. We’ll always be upfront about what counts as a change order versus normal iteration.
What we need from you
Timely delivery depends on a few things from your side:
- Access to the required data sources within 5 business days of kickoff
- Stakeholder availability for scheduled review sessions
- Sign-off or written feedback on milestone deliverables within 5 business days
Delays on the client side extend the timeline proportionally and don’t count as a failure on our part under the guarantee.
After the project
Once the final milestone is accepted, the project is complete and all deliverables are owned by you. Ongoing support, new features, and maintenance are available under a separate retainer agreement, entirely at your option, never a requirement.
Common questions
What if we’re not happy with the work?
Before the halfway milestone, the guarantee covers you: if we don’t deliver against the agreed criteria and can’t fix it within 10 business days, you get a 50% refund of everything paid. After that, we keep working in small, reviewable steps, so problems surface early and get fixed before the next milestone rather than piling up at the end.
Can we pause or stop the project?
Yes. Because work is milestone-based, you can pause between milestones or stop after any accepted one, paying only for what’s been delivered. There are no long lock-in contracts.
Do you sign NDAs and data agreements?
Of course. We’re happy to sign your NDA and a data processing agreement before we touch any sensitive data, and we work inside your own cloud accounts so your data stays under your control the whole time.
